Katherine Webster – Founder VetsinTech (and TechCentralSF)

Katherine Webster is the Founder of VetsinTech and TechCentralSF.

VetsinTech, ViT is committed to bringing together a tech-specific network, resources, and programs for our veterans interested in Education, Entrepreneurship, and Employment.

In November 2010, Katherine founded TechCentralSF – TechCentralSF San Francisco’s exclusive online directory resource and collaborative community for High Tech, Biotech, and Cleantech with over 1,000 start-up companies and established innovators making breakthroughs across San Francisco.  Full bio

 

Chris Galy – Advisory board member (Director, Talent Acquisition for Intuit, Inc.)

Chris and his all-star team of talent managers provide talent consulting, solutions, and delivery for all of Intuit’s product and functional divisions including QuickBooks, Quicken, Turbo Tax and Mint.  His global human resources leadership experience spans twenty years in the military, software, networking, and semiconductor industries. Craig Hanson – Advisory board member (General Partner and Co-Founder of Next World Capital (NWC))

Craig is a General Partner and Co-Founder of Next World Capital (NWC), an international technology venture capital firm with offices in San Francisco, Paris, Brussels and London. NWC specializes in helping U.S. companies expand internationally, and Craig works closely with management teams on strategy and growth in the U.S. and Europe, resulting in accelerated growth, international expansion, job creation and technology innovation. Craig is also a Truman Security Fellow with the Truman National Security Project, analyzing U.S. policy programs to foster economic growth, trade and investment. He has been an official delegate with the U.S. State Department in North Africa, and has published and spoken internationally on economic engagement as an integral part of U.S. foreign policy. Dave Gowel – Advisory board member (CEO, RockTech and Iraq Veteran)

Dave Gowel leads RockTech, a tech company making the web easier to use for corporate sales teams. Beginning his military career as a West Point graduate and platoon leader in Iraq, Dave’s final Active Duty position was as an Assistant Professor of Military Leadership at MIT’s ROTC program.  Dave also authored The Power in a Link: Open Doors, Close Deals and Change the Way you do Business Using LinkedIn (Wiley, 2011), and RockTech partnered with GE to make their platform available to Veterans at no cost to use LinkedIn better job searching.  Full bio.

Kevin Heneghan – Advisory board member (Partner, HansonBridgett)

Kevin specializes in advising business entities, candidates, elected officials, trade associations, and independent expenditure committees on a wide range of campaign finance, lobbying, election, and governmental ethics law issues. He has served as campaign counsel for candidates for statewide office, several State Legislators, and numerous elected officials in San Francisco and San Diego. Full bio

Craig Mullaney – Advisory board member (Facebook)

Craig is an experienced tech executive and social entrepreneur, bestselling author on leadership education, and proud veteran.  He served with the 10th Mountain Division of the U.S. Army in Afghanistan and later as a public servant with the Pentagon and USAID overseeing policy in the region.  Full bio

Craig Newmark – Advisory board member (Founder – Craigslist and craigconnects)

Craig Newmark is the founder of craigslist, the web-based platform that has fundamentally changed classified advertising. Since its founding in 1995, craigslist has become one of the world’s 10 most-visited English language web platforms. Today there are craigslist websites virtually everywhere and serving every continent on earth (except Antarctica). Full bio

Ken Regalia - Advisory board member (Chief Financial Officer for Bay Area Council and Bay Area Council Foundation)

Ken oversees and directs the financial, human resource, IT and administrative functions of the organizations. He collaborates with the policy, membership and events staff to provide guidance, support and a high degree of accountability and control.  Ken was recently honored as one of the three finalist for the 2014 Bay Area CFO of the year award. Christopher Peri – Senior Advisor – VetsinTech

Christopher received his Doctorate from the University of California, Berkeley in Architecture. His focus was on Collaboration in Virtual Environments delving into methods that facilitate designers and engineers to improve communication. Full bio

Nathaniel Dowds – Advisory board member (Attorney, Iraq & Afghanistan Veteran)

Nathaniel is the founder of the Law Offices of Nathaniel R. Dowds, a firm focused on delivering corporate and family law services to startups, professionals, and investors. Prior to pursuing a career in law, Nathaniel served as a paratrooper with the 82nd Airborne Division where he completed multiple combat tours in Iraq and Afghanistan. Full bio
